JAPAN APPROVED FIRST ICU FOR THALASSEMIA (25th August’2011)

The Government of Japan approved Thalassemia Intensive care unit (ICU) equipments to Afzaal Memorial Thalassemia Foundation (AMTF) Karachi-Pakistan, which is the first level of setup for the treatment of Thalassemia patients as well as cancer patients.

A brief ceremony was held recently in Consulate General of JAPAN and H.E. Masaharu Sato was chief guest. He expressed that this support is sign of best ties between the people of Japan and Pakistan.

This Project would definitely help save the lives of Thalassemia patients as well as children cancer patients and enhancement in the quality of life.
